Not a heck of a lot to say right now.  I can’t tell you much about what Nugget likes & dislikes – other than kicking the heck outta me and doing somersaults in the late afternoon.

Mr Nikki bought a camcorder (Sony!) so that we can take videos & fear not, the grandparents will get plenty of dvd’s.

I’ve declared that if we had a girl, it would be like Mr Nikki, but a boy would be like me.  Quiet, that is.  However, I was wrong about it being a girl, so I could very well be wrong about this – which means the dvds will involve a lot of singing and dancing and noise-making.

So far I seem to have chosen the theme of vintage robots & dinosaurs.  Boys like dinosaurs, right?  And I like vintage robots.  Mr Nikki likes (loves) the color green, but we’ll try not to drown the poor kid in green.

Already confirmed a few weeks ago – I was so sure it was a girl, but lo and behold! it’s a boy!

Did you know that boys’ names are nearly IMPOSSIBLE TO CHOOSE?  I always thought I wanted to name a boy Max, however, Mr Nikki doesn’t seem too keen on it.  To be honest, now that I have the chance, I don’t know how keen I am, either.

Other names in consideration:

Oliver (Mr Nikki seems sold on this one)
Felix (just thought of this one last night, we both like it)
Chase

I like the names Lukas (pronounced in the Czech way – as Loo-kash), Jakub (also Czech – yah-koob) and Luka.  Mr Nikki immediately started singing something about living on the second floor, when I mentioned Luka.  Of course.

I do like Oliver because “Oliver Craig” has a nice ring to it.  I’ve long since wanted to use my dad’s name as a middle name, if I ever had a boy.
